Guitars, Karaoke, & Barbecue Fun At Lark View

There’s something truly special about how music brings people together, and over the last few months, our care home has been filled with just that, with wonderful moments shared between residents, families, and staff at Lark View Care Home.

Recently, we were treated to a delightful afternoon of live entertainment that had everyone smiling. Our talented staff member Matt picked up his guitar and filled the lounge with familiar tunes that instantly got us all in spirits. Not to be outdone, resident Terry grabbed the karaoke microphone and got everyone singing along. From gentle toe-tapping to full-on dancing, the atmosphere was absolutely infectious.

The celebrations continued with a barbecue, another highlight of the season. The sun was shining, the food was sizzling, and the garden buzzed with conversation and laughter. Residents and their families enjoyed delicious treats fresh from the grill, shared stories, and soaked up the warm, friendly vibe that makes our community so special here in Lark View Care Home Thanington, Canterbury.
