Music & Majestic Birds At Lark View

Life at Lark View Care Home remains as active and engaging as ever, with music continuing to play a big part in our daily routines. Our roster of visiting performers has grown steadily, helped along by the enthusiasm of staff members who bring their own musical flair to events and gatherings. Singers Bing Lyle and Le’Arna Castle have become two of our most welcomed regulars. Their performances always bring warmth and a sense of togetherness that residents and staff alike look forward to.
Recently, we had a visit from Owl Adventures, which made for a morning quite unlike any other. The lounge transformed into a temporary aviary as their birds flew gracefully overhead, giving us the chance to see them up close and learn more about the different species. It was an absorbing experience that left everyone talking long after. Animal therapy has a remarkable impact in care homes, offering both comfort and connection. Regular visits from therapy animals help reduce stress, lift mood, and encourage social interaction among residents and is always welcomed here at Lark View.

Between the live music, the special visits, and the everyday energy from our community, the home continues to feel lively and full of character, a place where there’s always something worth being part of.
