A Summer Days Out At Lark View

It’s been a busy summer at Lark View, with plenty happening both in the home and out and about. Our residents have been making the most of the warmer weather with some lovely mini-trips.
A recent visit to the bowling alley brought out some friendly competition, with residents and staff going head-to-head. There were even a few hidden bowling talents discovered along the way! Afterwards, everyone headed downstairs for a cold drink and a chat before heading home.

We also enjoyed a Sunday afternoon at the Victoria Hotel. The Lark View party of thirteen had the conservatory to ourselves, giving residents, relatives and staff the chance to enjoy a meal together in the sunshine. The food was beautiful and the staff were so helpful throughout our visit.
Blue Diamond Garden Centre remains a favourite for our mini-trips. Residents enjoyed browsing the plants and flowers before cooling down in the café with a drink and some cake.
Back at Lark View, our lovely resident and former chef Susie has been helping with cooking activities. She’s a patient teacher and we’re grateful for her help. It’s been a warm summer, but there’s still plenty to enjoy at Lark View.
